L Noll
Welcome!

I’m Ms. Noll, and I teach 11th and 12th grade English Language Arts at Lewiston-Altura High School (LAHS).  The 2022-23 school year will be my eleventh year teaching at LAHS.

I’m originally from White Bear Lake, MN.  I moved to Winona, MN, to complete my undergraduate degree, and I completed my B.A. in English at Winona State University.  I then earned a Master of Arts in International Business (MIB) from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota (SMU).  While obtaining my MIB degree, I worked in the corporate world as a proposal writer.  During the 2010-11 school year I participated in an Americorps Minnesota Reading Corps program where I tutored students in reading.  I found that I loved working with students, so I decided to pursue a teaching degree.  I completed my Master of Arts in Instruction at SMU in 2012.

I've taught several courses as an adjunct instructor at SMU since then, and I also teach two Concurrent Enrollment courses at the high school in conjunction with Minnesota State College Southeast.  In addition, I was a member of the Minnesota Department of Education's English Language Arts Standards Committee during the 2019-20 school year.    I am also the National Honor Society advisor at LAHS.

Outside of school I love to garden, play card games, and spend time around the Winona lakes.   My husband and I live in Winona, and we have a cat, Matilda, and a dog, Kirby.

Please use the links on the left to find additional course information.

Thank you!
