Welcome to the LAHS Speech Team!! The LAHS Speech Team is open for participants in 7-12 grades. Students are able to choose from 13 different categories. Some of those categories are INTERPRETATION categories, which means that students are choosing a selection that has been written by a published author or playwright. The students then deliver their interpretation of the selection. The remaining categories are PUBLIC SPEAKING. Students write their own speeches for these categories.
