Fall play 2016

This year's fall play is going to be Harvey, by Mary Chase! It's the story of Elwood P. Dowd, his best friend Harvey, who is an invisible 6-foot-tall rabbit, and his family and acquaintances. Unfortunately, Elwood is the only person who can see Harvey (or is he?), so the question remains: is Elwood crazy? Or is everyone else?

Harvey is a famous comedy; in 1950 it was made into a movie starring Jimmy Stewart, and it has experienced many revivals on Broadway, most recently with Jim Parsons (Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory).

Auditions will be held September 14th at 3:15 p.m. and for those with conflicts after school, auditions will also be held September 15th at 7:15 a.m. Auditions will be in Ms. Schreiber's room (A118). Any students wishing to get the audition packet in advance can stop in Ms. Schreiber's room.

The play will be performed November 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2016 on the LAHS gymnasium stage; the curtain will rise at 7, and the doors open at 6:30.

Tickets will be $3 for students and $5 for adults (may be purchased in advance at the school offices or at the door before the performance)
