Welcome to 6th Grade Mathematics! 

This is where you can find all of the information about 6th Math assignments and lessons.
In Schoology,  I upload class notes everyday that we completed in class together for students to refer to if they need help with their homework.

You will also find a sheet you can print to help organize showing your work on assignments under the "Class Files" tab.

My goal as the 6th grade math teacher is for students to appreciate the process and to understand the importance of math throughout life. I hope they learn the ease of using mental math to make sure their answers are logical.

Students will have plenty of opportunities to make up math points by asking questions/advocating for themselves, practicing skills through a program called IXL to further their understanding, and redoing quiz questions to master the skill. The details for which IXL skills will line up with which lesson can be found under the "Class Files" tab.
