Welcome to 6th Grade Language Arts! 

This is where you can find all of the information about 6th Language Arts assignments and lessons.  
Each week your child will have: 
*A Spelling List: The work will alternate between a paper packet and Schoology activity
*A Spelling Test: These will be on Fridays (unless noted otherwise), if you lose the list it is on Schoology 
*A Journal Prompt: They will get a prompt on Monday's; this will also alternate between Schoology and a written version in their notebook, they will be assigned a day to turn in their journal when we do written versions. 


My goal as the 6th grade language arts teacher is for students to improve their writing skills, expose them to grade-appropriate spelling words to help spell correctly when writing larger papers in the future, and to encourage them to enjoy reading as a past time.
